Job Description
This high-end hospitality destination is seeking an Executive Chef to lead its culinary program and elevate its dining experience to a world-class standard. Inspired by alpine traditions and refined luxury, this role is ideal for a creative and passionate culinary leader ready to build a destination-worthy food and beverage program.
The Executive Chef will drive culinary innovation, craft seasonal and locally inspired menus, and curate unforgettable guest experiences. This role also includes team leadership, operational oversight, and fostering a positive, high-performance kitchen culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop new culinary concepts and innovative menus aligned with the property's luxury positioning
- Collaborate across departments to ensure a seamless and exceptional guest journey, with emphasis on dining
- Execute business strategies in support of the company’s mission to provide best-in-class luxury experiences
- Cultivate a positive, high-trust team culture that promotes employee engagement and satisfaction
- Lead and mentor a kitchen team, fostering professional growth and high standards of execution
- Maintain strong cost controls for food and labor, optimize inventory, and minimize waste
- Stay current on global culinary trends and techniques to ensure the program remains relevant and competitive
- Serve as a culinary ambassador, engaging with media and food influencers to promote the property’s culinary offerings
- Oversee and resolve any food-related guest issues with a commitment to satisfaction
- Analyze F&B performance data to inform operational efficiencies and improve profitability
- Support ownership relationships by maintaining trust and delivering on brand and financial expectations
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in a comparable role within a luxury hospitality setting or high-end restaurant group
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Culinary Arts, Hotel Management, Business, or a related field
- Flexible schedule availability, including weekends and holidays as needed
- Proficient in Microsoft Windows applications and general computer literacy
